"I said to [Paul], ‘For what it’s worth I just want you to know that John really loved you,’” said Pang. “He said, ‘Oh, I know that.’ Then I said, ‘You know, we were going to come down to New Orleans because he wanted to write with you again.’ Paul looked at me and said, ‘Oh yeah … that would have been great.’ I could tell he thought I was just being nice."

"Something special was growing between them, something that went past friendship as we knew it. It was as if they drew power from each other."

"After a while, they’d finish each other’s sentences. That’s when we knew how strong their friendship had become. They’d grown that dependent on one another."

"John’s relationship with each of the other Beatles was different. He was at his most relaxed with Ringo, who often had him in stitches with his jokes. He treated George with a mixture of fondness and disdain he might have shown a younger brother. He was closest of all to Paul, but their relationship was more complex."

iremade-grahamcoxman asked: Ah, thank you! I downloaded eMule, and I'm trying to figure everything out. What's the file name for the zip file you downloaded, if you don't mind me asking? :)

It is “The Beatles The Complete Studio & Home Recordings 1957-1968” :D

iremade-grahamcoxman asked: Where did you get the song you just posted? I've looked so many places, but I can't seem to find it:/ A damn shame, since it's so.. oh my god.

Hello! Well, believe it or not, I found it on emule (http://www.emule.com/). It was a zipped file with supposedly all of the Beatles’ recordings from 1957 to 1968. It’s wonderful, really. Over 1,000 recordings.

And, yeah. It’s pretty OMG-worthy. And damn sexy.
